My Testimony

September 2012, I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. My diagnosis was death, but I believed by faith in God for life and healing. I had no fear, because I trusted that God would heal me. After a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, I have been cancer free for over 7 years and give all glory to God! I put my hope in Jesus, and through Him, I was able to fight cancer and win the battle. God put on my heart that I was to help anyone battling right now to fight cancer with Jesus!

At a women's retreat, I was in my hotel room flipping through my pictures on my phone when I saw an image of a pink cancer survivor ribbon with the following verse: "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV). God spoke to my heart and said that my testimony would be used as an inspiration to those in need by helping them walk in faith and seek His strength.

I am a graduate of the Life School of Christian Leadership. I am also a graduate of the Journey of Hope Leadership Training Program through the Cancer Treatment Centers of America.

Most importantly, I am a believer and follower of Jesus, and through Him, we can fight cancer together!
